The Kansas City Chiefs returned home to Arrowhead Stadium Oct. 12 to take on the Detroit Lions in Week 6 of the NFL’s 2025 season. And while Taylor Swift is busy promoting her 12th studio album, “The Life of A Showgirl,” which dropped Oct. 3, she still made it to Arrowhead to support her fiancé, Travis Kelce.
The Chiefs and the Lions, who’ve won their last four games, are both Super Bowl contenders this season.
The primetime game kicked off at Arrowhead at 8:20 p.m. ET on “Sunday Night Football” on NBC and Peacock. (Peacock is owned by TODAY.com’s parent company, NBCUniversal.)
Swift was spotted on the live broadcast in the box seating at Arrowhead alongside WNBA superstar Caitlin Clark.
Swift and Clark had been together at a Chiefs game last season, when Kansas City and the Houston Texans faced off in the playoffs in January. Swift’s parents, Andrea and Scott Swift, were there, too.
When asked by ESPN about appearing in the suite with Swift that game, Clark said, “We’re just having normal conversations as any other person in Arrowhead Stadium that night.”
She called Swift “one of the sweetest people I’ve ever been around.”
“Everybody says that when you meet her, but it’s really true,” she added. “She just treats everybody with the same amount of kindness, and her family was great.”
Clark is a longtime supporter of Swift’s; the Indiana Fever guard attended multiple stops on Swift’s “Eras Tour” and told Time magazine that she had met Kelce and Swift’s mother at the Indianapolis shows.
When the Fever wrapped their season this year, Clark spoke in a presser the same day that Swift’s new album dropped, telling journalists: “Thanks, guys. Make sure you listen to ‘Life of a Showgirl’ tonight.”
