The Kansas City Chiefs returned home to Arrowhead Stadium Oct. 12 to take on the Detroit Lions in Week 6 of the NFLโs 2025 season. And while Taylor Swift is busy promoting her 12th studio album, โThe Life of A Showgirl,โ which dropped Oct. 3, she still made it to Arrowhead to support her fiancรฉ, Travis Kelce.
The Chiefs and the Lions, whoโve won their last four games, are both Super Bowl contenders this season.
The primetime game kicked off at Arrowhead at 8:20 p.m. ET on โSunday Night Footballโ on NBC and Peacock. (Peacock is owned by TODAY.comโs parent company, NBCUniversal.)
Swift was spotted on the live broadcast in the box seating at Arrowhead alongside WNBA superstar Caitlin Clark.
Swift and Clark had been together at a Chiefs game last season, when Kansas City and the Houston Texans faced off in the playoffs in January. Swiftโs parents, Andrea and Scott Swift, were there, too.
When asked by ESPN about appearing in the suite with Swift that game, Clark said, โWeโre just having normal conversations as any other person in Arrowhead Stadium that night.โ
She called Swift โone of the sweetest people Iโve ever been around.โ
โEverybody says that when you meet her, but itโs really true,โ she added. โShe just treats everybody with the same amount of kindness, and her family was great.โ
Clark is a longtime supporter of Swiftโs; the Indiana Fever guard attended multiple stops on Swiftโs โEras Tourโ and told Time magazine that she had met Kelce and Swiftโs mother at the Indianapolis shows.
When the Fever wrapped their season this year, Clark spoke in a presser the same day that Swiftโs new album dropped, telling journalists: โThanks, guys. Make sure you listen to โLife of a Showgirlโ tonight.โ
