Lauren Sรกnchez is turning heads with her bold fashion choices ahead of her wedding to billionaire businessman Jeff Bezos in Venice this weekend.
The Emmy-winning television journalist, 55, was photographed waving to onlookers outside the Aman Hotel June 26 as she climbed aboard a small taxi boat to join her fiancรฉ, 61.
Sรกnchez wore a strapless gold Schiaparelli gown that featured embroidered flowers and a snug corseted bodice. She paired the look with diamond earrings, with her whopper of an engagement ring on display.
The day before, Bezos’ bride-to-be dazzled in a vintage one-shoulder Alexander McQueen gown from the late designer’s Spring 2003 collection. The body-hugging navy dress featured embellished diagonal stripes.
Approximately 200 guests are expected to celebrate with Bezos and Sรกnchez during three days of wedding festivities, which are scheduled to begin with a welcome party on June 26, city hall officials previously told NBC News.
The high-profile couple’s invitees include Oprah Winfrey, Tom Brady and Kim Kardashian.
Bezos and Sรกnchez, who announced their engagement in 2023 after nearly four years of dating, will walk down the aisle sometime between Thursday and Saturday, reported the New York Times.
Sรกnchez opened up about planning her nuptials when she spoke with Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb on TODAY in November 2024.
โThinking about the dress, I have to say. I do have a Pinterest, Iโm just like every other bride,โ Sanchez said, laughing.
