TikTok Couple Nara and Lucky Smith Share Their 10 Marriage Rules

The viral clip garnered a strong response in the comment section, as fans couldn’t get enough of the couple’s relationship.

“This is what a healthy relationship looks like,” one comment read.

Another wrote, “This is two people giving 100% and receiving 100%. I love this in a marriage.”

A third added, “To be loved is to be known.”

Before Going to a Restaurant

Discussing their off-the-cuff list, Nara Smith said she “always” scans the menu at a restaurant to make sure her husband “has options that he likes to eat.”

“I pick what he’s going to eat so he doesn’t have to worry,” she explained.

Standing on His Lefthand Side

Next, Nara Smith said they have a rule that she stands on her husband’s lefthand side whenever they’re around doorways because Lucky Smith insists on opening the door for her.

Shaking his head in agreement, Lucky Smith said it “bothers” him if his wife stands on the right because that makes it difficult for him to properly open the door for her to walk through first.

“You have to be on the left so I can easily just let you glide in,” he added.

Driving

The couple then discussed their rules around driving, or lack thereof.

“One thing I do is, I drive no matter what,” Lucky Smith said. “I really get bothered when I see girls driving a guy. I don’t know why. I just don’t like it.”

Nara Smith added, “You also always fill up the tank. I don’t remember the last time I’ve pumped gas. I probably haven’t in years, unless I’m alone.”

Taking Out the Trash

The same rule applies to trash, the couple continued. Lucky Smith said he “obviously” takes out the garbage.

Nara Smith laughed, adding, “I don’t touch the trash.”

Doing the Dishes

Revealing more unspoken rules in their marriage, Lucky Smith said he “always” cleans the dishes since Nara Smith cooks “these beautiful meals.”

Styling Their Children’s Hair

The couple share three children — Rumble Honey, 4, Slim Easy, 3, and Whimsy Lou, 1 — with a fourth on the way.

Lucky Smith said it’s his job to do the little ones’ hair.

“Lucky’s very particular with it,” Nara Smith said of her husband’s styling, with Lucky Smith adding, “Very specific. Has to be good.”

The only time Nara Smith said she touches their kids’ hair is if they want a particular hairstyle, like an updo.

Hot Sauce on Tap

Nara Smith said there’s one pantry staple they never run out of: hot sauce.

“I always make sure Lucky never runs out of hot sauce,” she said. “So every time I see it run low, I go buy more hot sauce.”

“You need the hot sauce in your fridge,” he added, smiling.

Curated Salads

When cooking for Lucky Smith, Nara Smith said she never puts fruits in his salad that he doesn’t like “so he doesn’t have to hassle with picking them out.”

After Nara Smith asked if he’s noticed she does that, he replied, “No, but I love that you do that. It’s a perfect salad.”

He clarified, however, that he’s a fan of vegetables, but joked that cucumbers and tomatoes “can leave.”

Warming Her Feet Up

Noting that Nara Smith has “really cold feet,” Lucky Smith said he lets her to tuck her feet underneath his legs when they’re cuddling on the couch.

“My legs warm those for her. Got to warm those up,” he proudly said.

Nara Smith added she “never noticed” he did that until he mentioned it at one point.

A Good Foot Rub

Wrapping their list, Lucky Smith said giving good foot rubs is necessary in their marriage.

“Always give a good foot rub,” he said as Nara Smith smiled and nodded at the camera. “It’s essential.”

The two influencers got married in 2020 and have shared their life as a family of three on social media. Nara Smith has nearly 12 million followers on TikTok, while the each of the models independently has millions of followers on Instagram.

In June, Nara Smith revealed she’s pregnant with their fourth child in a video of her hubby kissing her stomach on Instagram.
