‘My Hero Academia’ Concert Tour Unveils Trailer, Key Visual

Toho has unveiled a trailer and key visual for the โ€œMy Hero Academia In Concertโ€ world tour.

The tour, produced by GEA Live, is set to kick off May 30, 2026, at Pacifico Yokohama National Convention Hall in Japan before expanding to international venues.

The touring production will transform the beloved anime series into a live cinematic concert experience, featuring composer Hayashi Yukiโ€™s score performed by a band in sync with scenes from the showโ€™s eight seasons displayed on a large-scale screen. The performance will showcase iconic battles, emotional moments and defining character scenes from the seriesโ€™ decade-long run.

Hayashiโ€™s compositions, including fan-favorite themes โ€œYou Say Runโ€ and โ€œYou Can Become a Hero,โ€ will be performed live as the visuals unfold on screen, aiming to capture the tension, triumph and emotional stakes that have defined the series.

โ€œThis concert gives fans a powerful new way to experience the story they love,โ€ said Floris Douwes, producer and managing director at GEA Live. โ€œHayashiโ€™s score is the emotional heartbeat of โ€˜My Hero Academia.โ€™ Performed live, every note heightens the stakes โ€” the victories, the losses, and the resolve that defines what it means to be a hero.โ€

The concert aims to honor the seriesโ€™ legacy for both longtime fans and newcomers through what organizers describe as a high-energy collective experience.

Based on Horikoshi Koheiโ€™s manga, โ€œMy Hero Academiaโ€ is set in a world where approximately 80% of the population possesses superpowers called Quirks. The story follows Midoriya Izuku and his classmates at U.A. High School as they train to become professional heroes. The anime series concluded its eighth and final season in fall 2025.

GEA Live has produced location-based entertainment for brands including PlayStation, โ€œAvatar: The Last Airbender,โ€ โ€œDemon Slayerโ€ and composer Ennio Morricone, operating as part of Sony Musicโ€™s Masterworks Live division. The company has delivered shows across more than 40 countries.
