The Jonas Brothers are no stranger to nostalgia, especially when it comes to their tour riders.
In an Aug. 11 interview with Eater, Kevin, Joe and Nick Jonas divulged their hot takes when it came to food, including the biggest โfoodieโ of the group and their must-have snacks on tour.
During their commentary on food, Joe Jonas revealed a surprising childhood snack that the brothers specifically requested to have on hand for their 20th anniversary tour, which kicked off in their home state of New Jersey this month.
โThis is nostalgic for us, but we all have in our separate dressing rooms ants on a log, which is a celery stick, usually peanut butter โ but almond butter โ with raisins on top,โ Joe Jonas explained.
The rest of Joe Jonasโ rider included a โpretty good travel coffee setup,โ as well as tequila, beer and a โbalance of healthy and unhealthy snacks.โ
Kevin Jonas said that his rider has โchanged over the years,โ but now itโs mostly family centric.
โI always have things for my entire family,โ the father of two daughters explained. โSo anytime they show up, I make sure thereโs food. I always have hummus now and a vegetable plate. Not a fruit plate, a vegetable plate.โ
The musician also famously hates fruit, which came up as a topic of conversation during the interview.
While Joe Jonas was unanimously named the โbiggest foodieโ out of the brothers, Kevin Jonas got the title of โpickiest eater,โ despite his objections. As he pointed out, โI just donโt eat fruit, thatโs the only thing I donโt eat.โ
His brothers, however, did not agree, though Kevin Jonas later reasoned that if it was โa life-or-death situation,โ he could stomach a banana despite his dislike of the taste, smell and texture of the fruit.
While Kevin Jonas may also have the biggest sweet tooth of the family, Nick Jonas offered himself up as the family member with the โweirdest eating habitโ by admitting he carries a packet of A1 sauce in his bag at all times.
โTouring as much as weโve toured, you end up in certain places and you canโt find a great meal,โ he explained. โThe A1 sauce just makes it taste a little bit better.โ
The Jonas Brothers released their seventh studio album โGreetings from Your Hometownโ Aug. 8, 2025.
The release was quickly followed by the start of their tour, โJONAS20: Greetings From Your Hometownโ at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey Aug. 10.
The opening night of tour was chock full of nostalgic moments for fans, including surprise performances by Switchfoot and Jesse McCartney. Fans also saw a shocking reunion with Demi Lovato, who performed the songs โThis Is Meโ and โWouldnโt Change a Thingโ from โCamp Rockโ and โCamp Rock 2: The Final Jamโ with the Jonas Brothers.
The throwback surprises have continued in subsequent tour dates, giving fans the opportunity to reminisce on beloved tunes from the past.
On Aug. 14, The Click Five joined the Jonas Brothers to perform their 2005 hit โJust the Girlโ in Camden, New Jersey.
There was double trouble on stage on Aug. 15 when Hanson appeared at a concert in Virginia Beach to perform โMMPBopโ and sing the groupโs song โThatโs Just the Way We Roll,โ which name drops the famous band of brothers.
