The live-action โGargoylesโ reboot has turned to stone.
The project, which was in early development at Disney+, is no longer moving forward, a source confirms to Variety.
The streamer was working with writerย Gary Daubermanย andย James Wanโs Atomic Monster to develop a live-action version of the beloved Disney animated series, which aired from 1994 to 1997.
Rumors that the reboot was not moving forward originated from an interview by ComicsOnline with Greg Weisman, co-creator of the original series. โThatโs dead,โ Weisman said when asked about the Disney+ project. โI have no idea about animation, but there are no current plans for live-action.โ A source close to the project confirmed that it is not moving forward.
