Elton John, Charli xcx, Burna Boy Set Shows at London’s Apple Music Hall

London’s new venue Apple Music Hall has announced its inaugural lineup, including performances from Elton John, Charli xcx, Burna Boy and more.

John is set to open the venue — a state-of-the-art, 600-capacity facility at Battersea Power Station — with a concert on Monday. Apple Music Hall’s lineup through the end of the year will include shows from Charli xcx, Burna Boy, Baby Keem, Skye Newman, Troye Sivan, Arlo Parks and Chase & Status. All performances will also be livestreamed globally on Apple Music.

Tickets for the first three shows go on sale Monday at 9 a.m. local time via ticketing platform Dice.

“Partnering with Apple Music Hall is a perfect fit for Dice,” the company’s CCO, Andrew Foggin, said in a statement. “The thought and attention to detail that has gone into every aspect of the venue is clear to see, and is in total alignment with our ethos of ensuring fans have the best possible experience when discovering and attending shows.”

Apple Music Hall was revealed on Tuesday, with Apple stating that the new venue is “designed to connect artists and fans through bespoke, intimate performances unlike anywhere else.” It promises that every seat “feels close to the performer” while offering the infrastructure fit for an arena tour, with a 38-foot-wide stage that can be reconfigured for in-the-round performances and a 48-speaker spatial sound system. It’s also an operational production facility, with two recording and mixing studios built to professional standards. The venue is hardwired for 16+ cameras with a broadcast control room that also supports iPhone video capture.

Apple has partnered with independent U.K. promoter Communion One to support the venue’s booking and promotion. “Apple Music Hall is a fantastic venue, like nothing fans will have ever seen before,” said managing director Mazin Tappuni. “The production quality is world class, livestreaming to fans across the world, from a live room where every square foot has the artist and their fans in mind.”
