NBC will bring the laughs, the drama and everything in between during the 2025-2026 television season. The peacock network announced July 28 dates for the premieres of its shows for the upcoming season.
The season officially gets underway Sept. 22 with the return of โThe Voice,โ with coaches Michael Bublรฉ, Reba McEntire, Niall Horan and Snoop Dogg. The Zachary Quinto drama โBrilliant Mindsโ will launch its sophomore season later that night.
Before that, though, the NFL season will kick off with a pair of games. On Sept. 4, โFootball Night in Americaโ will return, followed by the new seasonโs first game when the Philadelphia Eagles will attempt to defend their Super Bowl title by hosting the Dallas Cowboys. On Sept. 7, the Baltimore Ravens will visit the Buffalo Bills in a key early season matchup.
Sports will also take center stage when NBC officially welcomes the return of the NBA on Oct. 21 with its pregame show airing before a doubleheader with teams that have yet to be determined.
In a season of premieres, โAmericaโs Got Talentโ will crown its newest champion during the Sept. 24 finale.
Thursday, Sept. 25, marks the return of โLaw & Orderโ and โLaw & Order: Special Victims Unit.โ The fifth season of โLaw & Order: Organized Crime,โ which recently aired on Peacock, will replay on NBC this time following the other two shows in the 10 p.m. ET time slot, Deadline reported.
Wednesday, Oct. 1, will feature the premieres of โChicago Med,โ โChicago Fireโ and โChicago P.D.โ
Comedy will also figure prominently this fall. Fresh off its 50th season, โSaturday Night Liveโ will return Oct. 4, while โSt. Denis Medicalโ will launch its second season with back-to-back episodes Monday, Nov. 3. โHappyโs Placeโ will also kick off its second season Friday, Nov. 7.
In addition, โTonight Showโ star Jimmy Fallon will expand his footprint by hosting the unscripted series โOn Brand with Jimmy Fallon,โ in which he โstarts a premier marketing agency and fills it with the most creative, clever, and competitive go-getters he can find,โ according to NBCUniversal.
The drama โThe Hunting Partyโ will return to the schedule at a later date, while a two-hour โWickedโ special, featuring stars Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande, will air Nov. 6 in honor of the upcoming movie โWicked: For Good,โ which will hit theaters Nov. 21.
