New Shows and Films for January 2026

Netflix is kicking off 2026 with a mix of new and returning titles set to hit the platform in January.

​The most highly anticipated title arriving this January is the fourth season of  “Bridgerton,” which releases its first volume at the end of the month. The second part of Season 4 will arrive on Feb. 26, 2026.

New shows coming onto the platform include the highly anticipated psychological thriller, “His & Hers,” on Jan. 8. Based on Alice Feeney’s murder mystery novel of the same name, the series centers on two estranged spouses—a detective and a news reporter—who reunite when a haunting murder disturbs their hometown of Dahlonega, Georgia.

Meanwhile, movie lovers will look forward to the return of familiar titles such as “Pitch Perfect,” “Dune” and “Ghostbusters: Answer the Call” alongside family favorites “Despicable Me” and Despicable Me 2.”
