Vanna White is happy with where she and her longtime partner John Donaldson stand when it comes to their relationship.
The โWheel of Fortuneโ star recently told E! News that she feels like they are still in the honeymoon phase and doesn’t feel pressure to get married.
โWeโre very happy,โ White, 68, told the outlet. โWeโve been together for a long time and we are just happy the way it is.โ
White and the businessman have been together since 2012. They met after a mutual friend brought Donaldson to a barbecue White was hosting, according to People.
โMaybe people want to see us get married,โ White told E! News. โWhen youโve been with someone for so long, you kind of feel like youโre already married. You donโt have to have that piece of paper.โ
The couple have remained mostly out of the public eye, with White rarely posting any photos of the two together on her social media.
However, White did share that they have kept up their annual holiday travel traditions โย and she’s even posted photos from their trips on Instagram.
โWe always go to Hawaii for Christmas vacation,โ White said. โItโs warm and tropical and itโs a good way to get away from a big city.โ
Back in October of 2023, White posted a selfie of her and Donaldson on the island with a beautiful rainbow in the background.
โEverything is perfect with #rainbows! #love #hawaii #restandrelaxation,โ she captioned the Instagram snap.
White previously opened up about being just fine being boyfriend and girlfriend with Donaldson in a 2023 interview with People, saying, โI feel like we are married. Do we have to get married? No, because we feel comfortable in our relationship.โ
Adding, โI know that heโs the one. He knows Iโm the one.โ
At the time, she noted that since the beginning of their relationship they instantly hit it off. She credited their compatibility and independence as the reasons for their success.
โI remember looking at him and thinking, โHeโs really cute,โโ she told the magazine. โWe ended up talking for a long time that night.โ
โIt just works,โ she added. โHe lets me be me, I let him be him. There is no drama.โ
While she and Donaldson aren’t tying the knot anytime soon, they are very much a family.
Over the years, the construction company owner has been included White’s family holiday cards, which also feature her son Nikko Santo Pietro and daughter Gigi Santo Pietro.
White shares the two children with her ex-husband, George Santo Pietro. The pair were married from 1990 to 2002.
