Episode 18 of “Love Island USA” Season 7 ended with a pair of dumpings from the villa that left viewers at home shocked and eager to see the fallout.
Much of the show’s past week had orbited around turmoil with Jeremiah and Huda, islanders who had been coupled up since the first episode. All seemed like sunshine and bliss until Episode 12, when America had voted to separate Jeremiah from Huda and pair him with a bombshell, Iris. While that dramatic vote left Huda single, Jeremiah was ready to open himself up to new connections, like with another bombshell, Andreina. That was cut short in Episode 18, though, when Jeremiah was sent home in another dramatic vote — but this time by the islanders.

Hannah, who came into the villa as a bombshell in Episode 4, was also dumped from the villa with Jeremiah, despite a connection that had been blossoming.
So how did this all go down? Here’s a “Love Island USA” Episode 18 recap.
‘Love Island USA’ Episode 18 Recap: What’s Happening With the Islanders
When two new bombshells, TJ and Andreina, enter the villa, the rest of the islanders are stoked to get to know them. Jeremiah is making efforts to bounce back after ending things with Huda, and his connection with Iris seems promising. Andreina catches his eye, though, and those feelings are mutual as the two continue to chat and share kisses. Jeremiah and Iris eventually agree that their connection isn’t so strong anyway and decide to stay friends.

As some of the guys observe that Jeremiah and Andreina are really digging each other, one person remains skeptical: Ace. He thinks Jeremiah is repeating behaviors they all saw with him and Huda.
“How I feel about it is: His type came through the door. He’s exiting off everybody who’s near him,” he says. “Zoning in on one person, and it is repeating the cycle.”
As TJ chats up a few girls in the villa, some bright connections emerge. He hits it off with Iris, as well as Cierra, who is happily coupled with Nic — or so we thought.
Though Cierra jives with TJ, she and Nic just slept together for the first time the night before. But, after a rowdy challenge earlier in the day that made clear Nic is attracted to Andreina, she’s thinks her feelings may be stronger than his. She chats with Nic, seeking a bit of affirmation, but Nic doesn’t exactly deliver. He likes Andreina too, he says, and wants to stay open.
Meanwhile, there’s little trouble with the rest of the islanders: Chelley and Ace, Hannah and Pepe, and Olandria and Taylor seem strong in their couples. Austin and Amaya are newly together, but Austin is concerned Amaya is coming on too strong. Huda, still single after the whole Jeremiah saga, sets her sights on TJ, though he tells her he’s not feeling it.
Who Went Home on ‘Love Island USA’ Last Night?
Mid-episode, the islanders are directed to meet at the fire pit. They receive a series of texts: America has been voting for their favorite girl and boy islanders — as individuals — and the islanders with the fewest votes are at risk of being dumped. The new bombshells, Andreina and TJ, are not included.

The top girls are revealed first: Olandria, Cierra, Chelley and Huda are all safe. Hannah, Amaya and Iris are left vulnerable.
The top guys are next: Taylor, Nic and Ace are safe, while Jeremiah, Pepe and Austin are in jeopardy.
Now all the safe islanders are left with the final tasks: The girls must decide which of the bottom three girls to eliminate, and same for the boys.

Viewers don’t get to see how the two groups come to their decisions, but the choices are made. The girls choose to dump Hannah, and the guys vote to nix Jeremiah.
Pepe and Andreina are visibly shocked. “They saw we had a connection, like, why would they choose you?” Andreina tells Jeremiah.
Jeremiah’s not sure either. “I feel a little betrayed, I’m not gonna lie,” he says in a confessional as he’s leaving the villa. “No matter what I would do, (it) wouldn’t be enough.”
Hannah is a bundle of tears. She had been through it: Last week, the islanders had voted to send home Charlie, who she had fell for when she first got to the island. She made the best of it and had found a promising connection with Pepe. As the girls try to console Hannah, she tells them, “I don’t really know how to talk to the people who just voted for me to leave.”
“I feel like I can never catch a break,” Hannah says in her final confessional. “Once I get something good, it’s taken away from me.”
