The final season of “The Summer I Turned Pretty” is in full swing, and so far, it’s featured a shocking betrayal, a surprise proposal and a long-awaited reunion.
Season 3 of the Prime Video show premiered with two new episodes on July 16. The season features a four-year time jump, with the beloved characters teenagers no more and firmly in their early 20s.
Finishing her junior year at Finch College, Belly (Lola Tung) is newly engaged to her boyfriend of several years, Jeremiah (Gavin Casalegno). Fans will remember that in Season 2, Belly’s relationship with Jeremiah’s older brother, Conrad (Christopher Briney), ended quickly with no hope for a rekindling after a painful rejection in the finale.
Conrad has since been in California and attended Stanford University for undergrad before pursuing a career in medicine. In Episode 3, he and Belly came face to face for the first time in a while โย where he promptly learned of her engagement to his brother.
Both Belly and Jeremiah’s family members were less than thrilled about their plans to get married while still in college. And based on the events of Jenny Han’s book, “We’ll Always Have Summer” โ the third book in the original “The Summer I Turned Pretty” book series โ there’s plenty of drama left.
What Time Does Episode 4 Come Out?
The next episode of “The Summer I Turned Pretty” Season 3 will come out on Wednesday, July 30. Episode 4 will officially be available to stream at midnight PT, or 3 a.m. ET.
