Taylor Swift Says These 2 Women Are ‘Pillars of Support’ During Football Season

Taylor Swift revealed the two women in her life who were her “pillars of support” throughout the Kansas City Chiefs’ most recent football season.

The singer has been a regular at Chiefs games since she started dating tight end Travis Kelce in 2023.

The new six-part ESPN documentary “The Kingdom: Kansas City Chiefs,” shot during the Chiefs’ most recent season and third consecutive bid for the Super Bowl, shows an unvarnished moment from Swift.

The cameras followed Swift on the field at Arrowhead Stadium celebrating the Chiefs’ victory against the Bills after the AFC championship game in January 2025.

Standing on the field with Swift were Brittany Mahomes, wife of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, and Donna Kelce, Travis Kelce’s mom. Donna Kelce is also mom to retired NFL player Jason Kelce.

Swift walked up to Brittany Mahomes and shrieked with excitement. When Donna Kelce appeared, the singer expressed her gratitude for Brittany Mahomes’ support..

“You’ve kept me so calm the last couple weeks,” Swift started to say. “I did not know what to do and I’d just text Brittany and just be like, ‘Tell me it’s going to be OK. Tell me it’s going to be OK.”

Then, Swift put her arms around both Brittany Mahomes and Donna Kelce and stood between them. She called the women her “two pillars of support.”

The Chiefs went on to lose the Super Bowl LIX to the Philadelphia Eagles, 40-22.

Swift has been photographed often with Brittany Mahomes and Donna Kelce at the box in Chiefs games and beyond. Brittany Mahomes and Swift were seated at a game together for the first time in October 2023 — and by the next game, on Oct. 22, they had their own handshake. The two have gone on nights out with Swift’s other friends, including Selena Gomez.
