It’s official: Taylor Swift is the guest on this week’s episode of the “New Heights” podcast.
On Monday, Aug. 11, she appeared alongside boyfriend and “New Heights” co-host Travis Kelce in a promo of this Wednesday’s episode.
The 13-second clip begins with Swift complimenting the color of Kelce’s sweatshirt.
“Such a nice color on you,” she says.
“Yes,” he responds. “It’s the color of your eyes, sweetie. That’s why we match so well.”
“We’re about to do a f**king podcast!” she exclaims — and rightfully so.
Swift has notoriously kept her private life, well, private in past relationships. She only appeared at a public event with previous boyfriend Joe Alwyn once in their six-year relationship. Yet with Kelce, Swift is regularly seen at his football games (in case you haven’t heard, he is a tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs) and he was frequently spotted at her concert stops for the “Eras Tour.” They also regularly speak about one another in interviews and she even changed the lyrics to her song “Karma” from “karma is the guy on the screen” to “karma is the guy on the Chiefs,” a lyric she often only sings when he is in the audience.
The New Heights clip came hours after the podcast hinted in a social media post that they had a special episode this week with a silhouette of a guest. Fans were quick to speculate that it was the pop star.
“I would recognize the silhouette of those bangs from a mile away,” commented one fan.
“This happens once every few lifetimes,” wrote the brand Ruggable, a reference to Swift’s lyric in the song “The Alchemy.”
