Stephen A. Smithโs daughter Samantha stole the show and hilariously roasted her dad during a recent appearance on his podcast.
Samantha joined the famous sportscaster for the Aug. 19 episode of โThe Stephen A. Smith Showโ podcast and took some time to poke fun at her dadโs highly-debated hairline.
Smithโs social media comments are frequently filled with fans, and critics, commenting on his hairline, and his 16-year-old daughter decided to add to the running joke. In a clip from the end of the latest episode, Samanthaโs sendoff included rapid fire jokes at his expense.
โThis is it for this edition of โThe Stephen A. Smith Showโ with Samantha A. Smith and Stephen A. Smith. Thank you guys so much for tuning in,โ Samantha said after taking the microphone from her dad.
She then took her hand and covered her dadโs forehead as he leaned closer toward the camera. โYes, his forehead still has space left, you guys. There will always be space,” she quipped.
“No, he cannot afford a hair transplant. Keep watching so he can afford it,โ she added.
She ended her message by encouraging his listeners to follow her public Instagram and to search for her secret account.
โIโll be back next week, probably. Donโt miss me too much,” she said.
During her monologue, the sports journalist bowed his head, pretending to be embarrassed.
โRoastedโฆby my own daughterโฆon MY own showโฆsmh,” Smith captioned the clip.
Fans on X and YouTube enjoyed Samanthaโs back-and-forth with her dad and requested she make more appearances on the podcast.

Another said, โItโs HER show now.โ
A third marveled at the similarities between the father-daughter duo, tweeting, โShe speak fast just like her dad and she looks exactly like her father… No DNA test needed.โ
Fans on YouTube agreed, with one writing, โShe is the female version of him 2.0.โ
Others suggested that Samantha return to the podcast along with Smithโs nephew Josh, who has also delighted fans whenever he is a guest on an episode.

Samantha, who is turning 17 later this month, promoted her dadโs podcast on her Instagram and posted some of her favorite moments from the episode. In one clip, she told him, โThey canโt even hear you. Thank God you guys canโt hear him. You can only hear me. Weโve been praying for times like this! Stephen A. is not talking, yes!โ
In another funny moment, the two pretended to argue about whether or not she is allowed to date. โI do date,โ Samantha said.
โWhat?!โ her dad responded in disbelief as she tried to move onto the next question. โWhen? Get back here!โ he told her.
The final video in the post showed Smith asking his daughter why โLove Islandโ is so popular.
โDonโt you want to find love?โ she replied.
Smith responded, โHuh? I have love.โ
โI donโt. Put me on โLove Island,โโ she said with a laugh while her father looked stunned. โThat was a joke,โ she added.
In addition to Samantha, Smith is also a proud dad to daughter Nyla. He mentions his daughters on his ESPN sports show, โFirst Take,โ from time to time. For example, he revealed on the show in September 2023 that he spent $20,000 on tickets to take his daughters to Taylor Swiftโs โEras Tour.โ
