Bad Bunny and Rita Moreno had a moment at the 2025 Latin Billboard Music Awards.
The “West Side Story” actor and singer made a flirtatious comment toward the rapper when she presented him with the award for Top Latin Artist of the 21st Century.
Moreno, who made a surprise appearance at the Oct. 23 event, started off her speech by calling the musician attractive.
“How are you?” she said while looking at Bad Bunny in the crowd in Spanish, according to a translation by TODAY. Then she joked: “You are looking good … all over!”
The 93-year-old then spoke about her Hollywood career and the barriers she faced as a Puerto Rican-born artist.
“Opportunities were few, almost nonexistent. And every step forward was a victory,” she said. “Today, I see an artist who brings to the whole world that same strength, that same passion that helped me never to give up.”
“I am very deeply moved from my heart, Benito, to present you the Billboard Latin Artist of the 21st Century Award,” she added to a cheering crowd.
After the two shared a hug and a quick dance, Bad Bunny — who, like Moreno, is Puerto Rican — gave her a shout-out on stage.
“Thank you very much. And same to you!” he said. “Thank you for those words, for me to receive this award from your hands … I respect you a lot, I admire you a lot. And … wow.”
“Every time I hear other artists express themselves that way about me, it gives me the confidence that being myself and doing things with my heart will always be a great decision,” he added. “Because that is the only thing I have done from day one. I have been gradually finding myself, little by little discovering who I am and what I represent.”
Bad Bunny said that he’s receiving his award with “pride” because he knows how “hard” he worked in his career. He then dedicated his trophy to other artists who are trying to get further in their careers.
“This award is also for you, because I will always identify with young people and with the new artists who are growing and dreaming,” he said. “I will always identify with those artists, because I consider myself still a young person who continues to dream with many goals and many things still to do.”
“I don’t accept this (award) with arrogance; I accept it with great humility. I will continue being the same. I love you all. Thank you,” he concluded.
After wrapping up his record-breaking Puerto Rico residency, Bad Bunny was announced as the performer for Super Bowl LX in September.
