“The Ultimatum: Queer Love” is back for Season 2, featuring six new couples deciding the future of their relationship.
In the show, couples at a crossroads embark on an experiment to decide if they want to get married. One person is ready to take the plunge. The other has reservations about marriage for a myriad of reasons. And so, an ultimatum is issued.
During the eight-week process, each couple breaks up and re-couples with new people. At the end of the season, they will decide whether they will say “I do” to an engagement with their original spouse or walk away to explore another connection. Juicy, right?
In Season 2 hosted by “Sweet Magnolia’s” JoAnna Garcia Swisher, six queer couples arrive on the scene to embark on the journey. And if the trailer is any indication, this season is sure to be a wild ride.
“My worst fear is that I would get to a point that I was ready, and you were falling in love with someone else,” Pilar Dizon says through tears. “Now it’s happening.”
In another scene, a different cast member says over B-roll, “It’s definitely possible to fall in love with two different people.” Another unidentified cast member reveals her frustration.
“How can you be in love with somebody else,” she says. “My heart is shattered.”
