Prince William received a sweet message from his family to mark his 43rd birthday on June 21.
The official Instagram account for the Prince and Princess of Wales shared a new photo of William with his family’s dog, Orla, while he cuddled with her new puppies.
In the snap, William had one of the puppies on his lap, while another pup stood on his legs. The third puppy stood off to the side while their mom, Orla, was partially hidden by William.
“Happy birthday!” the caption read. “Love C, G, C, L, Orla and the puppies!”
The message was signed by his wife, Catherine, Princess of Wales, their three children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, and of course, their beloved dog and her puppies.
Per BBC, the photo was taken at Windsor in early June. Their dog Orla was gifted to the family by the former Kate Middleton’s brother, James Middleton, in 2020 after the death of their dog, Lupo. Orla, a spaniel, welcomed four puppies back in May.
The prince also received a birthday message from his father, King Charles III, and his wife, Queen Camilla. On social media, the official account for the royal family shared a photo of William, alongside the caption, “Happy Birthday to The Prince of Wales!”
Less than a week ago, William received another sweet message from his family to mark Father’s Day with a “before and after” photo series featuring his children.
In the first snap, the family was all smiles for the photo as William posed with his arms around Charlotte and George, while his daughter hugged her younger brother, Louis. In the second snap, things took a silly turn when his kids dogpiled on top of their dad as they laid in the grass.
“Happy Father’s Day, Papa (before and after!),” the caption read. “We love you! G, C & L.”
William’s birthday celebration in 2025 looked slightly different than last year. In 2024 to mark his 42nd birthday, William attended Taylor Swift’s “Eras Tour” with his oldest children.
In a post shared on the Instagram account for the Prince and Princess of Wales, William, George and Charlotte posed for a photo with Swift. In another post shared by the singer, Swift included a selfie with William and his children, as well as her boyfriend, Travis Kelce.
“Happy Bday M8!” Swift captioned the post. “London shows are off to a splendid start.”
William had a great time at the concert, as evidenced by a viral video on social media that showed him shimmying to Swift’s tune “Shake It Off” in the crowd.
