It was a royal family affair at the 2025 Trooping the Colour celebration in London on Saturday, June 14.
In honor of the official birthday of the British monarch, King Charles III, the royal family gathered on the balcony of Buckingham Palace as they watched the celebratory fly-past of military aircraft and helicopters above.
Similar to past years, Prince Louis stole the show and seemed to charm his grandparents, King Charles and Queen Camilla, along with his parents, Prince William, Princess Catherine, and siblings, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, as he waved to the crowd of onlookers below.

The seven-year-old has become a staple at the annual event which features over 1,400 soldiers and officers, accompanied by 200 horses. Queen Camilla seemed the most entertained by Louis, who was lovingly restrained by bis big brother George at one point during the ceremony.

William and Catherine, Prince and Princess of Wales, also appeared to be in great spirits during the balcony ceremony. The couple, along with their children were all fashionably dressed.
The former Kate Middleton, 43, wore a fitted aqua colored jacket with matching hat, while William, 42, was dressed in regal attire just like his dad King Charles.
Prince George, 11, matched with his little brother Prince Louis, who wore a navy blue suit with a red tie. Meanwhile their sister, Princess Charlotte, twinned with their mom in a light aqua colored dress with a white neckline and midsection.

Prince Louis appeared to be having such a good time at the event that he didn’t want leave. As the royals made their exit from the Buckingham Palace balcony, Louis turned around to give one more goodbye wave. His sister Charlotte also took one last look before she was ushered away by her mom.

While the annual event is to celebrate King Charles’ birthday, the monarch requested changes to this year’s Trooping the Colour to honor those who died in the devastating Air India plane crash on June 12 that killed over 200 people.
King Charles wanted the parade to serve “as a mark of respect for the lives lost, the families in mourning and all the communities affected by this awful tragedy,” according to a palace spokesperson.
The royal family’s appearance at this year’s event marked the first time Kate has attended the annual festivities since she announced in January that she’s officially in remission from cancer.
The mom of three announced in a March 2024 video statement that she’d been diagnosed with an unspecified form of cancer after undergoing major abdominal surgery the previous January.
