Ree Drummond, the “Pioneer Woman,” is launching a new series — and this time, it doesn’t center around cooking.
The Food Network star, 56, announced June 23 on Instagram that she and her husband, Ladd Drummond, have created a new internet series called “Drummond Ranch” that will follow the daily goings-on at the family’s Oklahoma ranch.
She also included a full-length trailer for the series, which will air on a newly launched “Drummond Ranch” channel on YouTube.
“Have been working on this for awhile and am so excited to share this little sneak peek trailer with you. If you have missed the ranching/agricultural content on my show in recent years, you might enjoy our new Drummond Ranch series that’s starting soon,” she wrote in her caption.
She continued, “I play only a supporting role in this show; the real stars are the cowboys (and cowgirls!), cattle, horses, weather, markets, ups, downs, and everything in between.”
The new series will also feature her daughter Paige’s May wedding to husband David Andersen as well as “the behind the scenes of setting it up on the ranch,” she added.
The trailer kicks off with footage of Ladd Drummond tending to the ranch’s horses and doing other chores in the early morning before sunrise.
“You’re going to start at daylight and get as much done as you can as fast as you can throughout the day,” he tells viewers.

Ree Drummond also appears cooking in her home kitchen as she jokes about her husband’s tendency to “boss” her around.
Several of the couple’s five kids — Alex, Paige, Bryce, Jamar, and youngest Todd — are also seen doing various chores at the ranch.
Ree Drummond shared more details about the new series in a blog post on her official website, explaining that she and her husband hired a local camera crew who filmed the ranch’s activities for several weeks.
“They covered so many different things, and we hope this series shows the hard work and business side of cattle ranching,” she wrote of the crew, who, she added, would soon return to the ranch to continue filming.
“Anyone who watched the kids grow up on my cooking show will see that they’re officially all grown up and starting to come back and work more and more,” she said of the couple’s children.
The celebrity chef said viewers can expect the series to provide an authentic glimpse of what it looks like to operate a family ranch.
“You’ll see cowboys, weather, the dynamic between Ladd and his brother Tim,” she wrote, “and you’ll hear about the different kinds of cattle operations, markets, and what it’s like in a family where all the kids are growing up and trying to figure out what role they will play in the ranch’s future.”
