Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelceโ€™s Steakhouse, 1587 Prime, Gets Opening Date

Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomesโ€™ steakhouse in Missouri has an opening date โ€” and eager fans can score a reservation soon.

1587 Prime is set to open in Kansas City, Missouri, on Wednesday, Sept. 17, and reservations will be available for opening night and beyond starting at 12 p.m. CT (1 p.m ET) on Wednesday, Aug. 20, the restaurant announced in an Instagram post.

The post shared the details of the opening, plus a video of the two Kansas City Chiefs players trying some of the restaurantโ€™s dishes, including burgers and Japanese A5 Wagyu beef.

โ€œWhatโ€™s better than to break bread with people over good food, good drinks, cool vibe?โ€ Kelce said in the video.

Kelce described the menu as โ€œmind-blowing,โ€ while Mahomes said the restaurant still has โ€œthat Kansas City feel.โ€

โ€œKansas City loves food,โ€ Mahomes said. โ€œThis is different, and I think this city is going to love it.โ€

The opening date coincides with Mahomesโ€™ 30th birthday, and he suggested he might have a celebration at the restaurant in the comments of the post, writing, โ€œ30th Birthday Party?!?! ๐ŸŽ‰๐Ÿฅณโ€

Global hospitality group Noble 33 first announced plans for the modern steakhouse in 2024, which is set to take up nearly 10,000 square feet and two floors of the Loews Hotel Kansas City.

1587 Prime, a play on Mahomes and Kelceโ€™s jersey numbers, will have private dining rooms, a meat display and a chefโ€™s kitchen, Noble 33 said in a news release in 2024. The restaurant will also house one of Missouriโ€™s largest wine collections.

The restaurant will feature โ€œhyper-subtleโ€ references to Mahomes and Kelceโ€™s football accomplishments, adding to their portfolio of restaurants across the U.S. and internationally.

โ€œTravis and I have become frequent visitors of Noble 33 restaurants in other cities so it only made sense to bring something special to our own community in Kansas City,โ€ Mahomes said in 2024.

โ€œWeโ€™re excited to be a part of this journey with Noble 33 to create a one-of-a-kind dining experience, and what better place to start than our very own, Kansas City,โ€ Kelce added.

Last month, the restaurant posted a video of the pair trying a tasting menu, in which the Chiefs players ate several different types of butter along with steak.

โ€œMan that food was better than I could have imagined!! KC get ready baby!!โ€ Kelce wrote in the comments.

A full menu has not yet been released for the restaurant, which is set to open just about two weeks after the 2025-2026 NFL season begins on Sept. 4. The Chiefs are scheduled to play their first regular season game against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sept. 5.
