Megan Thee Stallion and Klay Thompson are red carpet official.
On July 16, the pair were spotted attending Megan’s Pete & Thomas Foundation Gala in New York City together. The couple showed up hand-in-hand and even shared a kiss at the event.
For the gala, Megan wore a gorgeous floor-length dress with beading around the waist and Thompson opted a classic black-and-white suit.
On the red carpet, Megan spoke to People about her relationship with Thompson and described their first meeting as something straight out of a romantic comedy.
“Oh, we met and it was such a meet cute. It was like a f—ing movie,” she said. “I won’t tell you how and I won’t tell you when, but it was a movie.”
“He’s the nicest person I’ve ever met in my life,” the “Mamushi” rapper added.
The couple’s outing comes a week after Megan featured Thompson on her Instagram account. On July 9, she shared photos of herself hanging out by the pool in a green bikini. In one snap, Thompson could be seen lounging on a chair in the far left of the picture.
Fans quickly took notice, calling it a clever way to “soft launch” their relationship.
“This is exactly how I’m going to post my man,” one person wrote. “He’s always around but you’ll never know 😉.”

After speculation about the two began circulating online, Thompson fueled the rumors when he shared a picture on Instagram that appeared to show him kissing someone who looked like Megan.
