Mario Lopez and Mark-Paul Gosselaar had a “Saved by the Bell” reunion at 90s Con over the weekend and commemorated the moment with a selfie.
“Caught up with the homie todayโฆ#OldSchoolย #Round2ย #Rematch,” Lopez captioned an Instagram post.
Lopez memorably played A.C. Slater while Gosselaar portrayed Zack Morris on the beloved ’90s sitcom. While the characters had a brief rivalry for the affections of Kelly Kapowski (Tiffani Thiessen), they went on to become best friends.
Lopez and Gosselaar both attended 90s Con 2025 in Hartford, Connecticut, and spoke on a panel alongside fellow former cast member Elizabeth Berkley, who played Jessie Spano, on Sunday, March 30. 90s Con also featured panels for shows like “Beverly Hills, 90210” and movie franchises like “Scream.”
Lopez and Gosselaar have stayed in touch over the years and memorably reunited on TODAY in November 2023. They both appeared on the 3rd hour of the show, and while they were promoting different projects, they teamed up to film a tease.
Today, Lopez is a host on “Access Hollywood” and leads his own radio show, “On with Mario Lopez.” Gosselaar, meanwhile, stars on NBC’s “Found,” a drama about a team dedicated to finding missing persons across the country, alongside Shanola Hampton.
