Hulk Hoganโs ex-wife Linda Hogan is honoring the pro wrestling legend in a heartbreaking tribute.
Linda Hogan said she was “devastated” by her ex-husband’s death, calling him, “the only man for me” in a lengthy comment she posted July 29 on Instagram.
The former “Hogan Knows Best” star previously shared a throwback pic of her and Hulk Hogan, whose birth name was Terry Bollea, on Instagram just days before he died July 24 of a heart attack at age 71.
After the wrestler’s death, Linda Hogan returned to her post to add an emotional comment, writing, “I had no idea he would pass away this soon. We all really thought he would make a come back! Big surprise. We are all devastated. Itโs hitting me so hard.”
Linda Hogan, who shared two kids โ Brooke Hogan, 37, and Nick Hogan, 35, with her late ex-husband โย went on to say, “I loved Hulkster more than he loved me.”
“It hurt when he cheated. But he was sooo famous. I sort of (understood) but it was crushing,” she wrote, adding that she never “got over him” or had a “real relationship” after the pair, who were married for 26 years, split.
Hulk Hogan denied cheating in his memoir “My Life Outside the Ring,” published in 2009.
“Iโve been weeping all day,” she wrote, “The finality. Itโs just shocking. We spent every minute together for so many years. Iโve known him since he was 28 yrs old!”
She added that she felt that she and the โRocky 3โ star were still โa family,โ thanks in part to her son Nick Hogan sharing updates about the wresterโs current life with her.
โItโs so hard to know heโs just gone,โ she wrote.
“I tried to stay strong for Nick .. but Iโm melting down now. Itโs very sad. I love you Hulkster. You were my man. The only man for me,” she concluded.
Linda Hogan and Hulk Hogan tied the knot in 1983 and were together all through the wrestler’s 1980s and ’90s heyday. The former couple appeared with their two kids on the VH1 reality series, โHogan Knows Best,โ which premiered in 2005 and ran for four seasons. They split in 2007 and finalized their divorce in 2009.
Nick Hogan called his late father his “best friend” in a tribute after his death, while Brooke Hogan, who had been estranged from her dad for several years, wrote that her “bond” with him had “never broken.”
In 2023, Hulk Hogan married his third wife, Sky Daily, who wrote on Instagram that his death was “impossible to process.”
โHe had been dealing with some health issues, but I truly believed we would overcome them. I had so much faith in his strength. I thought we still had more time,โ Daily wrote.
“To the world, he was a legendโฆ but to me, he was my Terry. The man I loved. My partner. My heart,โ she added.
