The nominations for the 2025 MTV VMAs have been announced.
Lady Gaga leads the pack this year with 12 nominations, including nods for video of the year, artist of the year and best album, it was announced Aug. 5.
It’s Gaga’s third time as the top contender at the VMAs, a feat she also pulled off in 2010 and 2020.
Other top nominees this year include Bruno Mars (11), Kendrick Lamar (10), and ROSÉ and Sabrina Carpenter (eight each).
The annual awards show will air live from the UBS Arena in Elmont, New York, on Sunday, Sept. 7, at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on CBS. The show will be simulcast on MTV and stream on Paramount+.
