Hugh Grant may want to start going to bed a little earlier.
The “Love Actually” star was caught snoozing at the Wimbledon Championships on July 9 while sitting courtside behind Queen Camilla.
In a now-viral moment, Grant could be seen leaning in his chair with shades on his face. As those around him, including his wife, Anna Elisabet Eberstein, continued to watch the game, Grant didn’t seem to move a muscle.
The BAFTA winner appeared to have dozed off amid the menโs singles quarter-final tennis match between Serbiaโs Novak Djokovic and Italyโs Flavio Cobolli.
Online, fans couldn’t get enough of the moment. One X user called him “iconic,” and others thought he was being “real,” saying tennis can be a “boring sport.”
Another called the viral moment the “best thing” they’ve ever seen at Wimbledon this year.
In terms of the match, Djokovic came out victorious against Cobolli, and he will now advance to the semi-finals where he’ll face Italy’s Jannik Sinner.
Djokovic noted that he’s excited to be a semi-finalist.
โIt means the world to me that at 38 Iโm still able to play in the final stages of Wimbledon,” he said, per Wimbledon.com. “Iโm going to have Sinner in the next round, thatโs going to be a great match-up.โ
