The lineup for the 2025 Global Citizen Festival has officially been announced!
Shakira and The Weeknd will be headlining the event, along with a slew of other artists.
The festival will be hosted by Academy Award nominee Hugh Jackman, who is a Global Citizen Ambassador. This marks his 11th year doing the event.
“Iโm thrilled by the progress weโve made over the years,โ he said in a press release. โThe growing impact of the Global Citizen movement touches every corner of the world, and Iโm eager to advocate alongside my fellow ambassadors, performers, world leaders, and private sector executives to leave the world better than we found it.โ
The 2025 Global Citizen Festival campaign has three main goals: provide energy access for 1 million people across Africa, raise money to protect areas of the Amazon rainforest and help kids worldwide have access to education.
Fans can show their support for the organization, which aims to end โextreme poverty,โ by attending the concert.

Global Citizen Festival 2025 Lineup
The Weeknd and Shakira will be headlining this yearโs festival, and there will also be performances by Tyla, Ayra Starr and Mariah the Scientist.
Additional participants will be announced in the next coming weeks.
