“Duck Dynasty” star Jessica Robertson has announced that her 18-year-old daughter, Priscilla Robertson, is expecting a child.
Jessica Robertson shared her daughter’s pregnancy news on Instagram on July 20 with a series of photos featuring the mom-to-be happily cradling her baby bump. The images show Priscilla Robertson happy, dressed in a peach-colored, fitted maxi dress. One photo shows her smiling down at her baby bump.
“Me & Jep are excited to welcome another new grandbaby in October,” the caption of the post begins. “Priscilla will give birth to our granddaughter & we are blessed to add another grandbaby.
“This isnโt the plans we had laid out for Priscilla but God takes our meager offerings and turns them into His greatest blessings! We are so proud that Priscilla & Dillon chose life for their baby and we will all be rewarded with this precious baby girl!”
In addition to Priscilla Robertson, the matriarch is also the mother of Lily, 22, Merritt, 20, River, 16, and Gus, 9.
“We pray blessings on her pregnancy & ask God for a safe delivery for Mom & Baby. We praise God for His perfect gifts! Pray for us! 3 babies under 1!” she wrote.
Jessica Robertson’s announcement drew a mix of responses from users in the comments section of the post.
“Beautiful! Love you and so excited for another sweet baby girl in the fam,” Korie Robertson, who appears in the reality show’s revival series, replied.
More celebrated the news of an additional member to the Robertson dynasty.
“Beautiful mama,” Sadie Robertson Huff wrote.
“Can’t wait to meet this precious baby girl!!!!” Bella Mayo chimed in. “Love you Priscilla!!!!
“Beautiful! Love yโall and she is gonna be an amazing mama!” Rebecca Robertson Loflin wrote.
Others were quick to point out how Jessica Robertson’s announcement was framed, with their comments underscoring the importance of support that young mothers need.

In June, Jessica Robertson and her husband, Jep Robertson, shared on Instagram the news that their daughter Merritt and son-in-law, Tyler Metro, will be expecting a baby girl in December.
