When Travis Kelce steps onto the field in Sao Paulo, Brazil, with the Kansas City Chiefs to face off against the Los Angeles Chargers on Friday, Sept. 5, he will do so as an engaged man.
Could his bride-to-be, Taylor Swift, show up to cheer him on?
The Week 1 game at Corinthians Arena comes a little more than a week after Swift and Kelce jointly announced their engagement Aug. 26 on Instagram.
Swift was a near-constant presence at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri, for the Chiefs’ regular-season home games last season. She also showed up to see the Chiefs beat the Houston Texans in a home playoff game on Jan. 18, 2025, and again when the Chiefs defeated the Buffalo Bills for the AFC championship on Jan. 26.
Swift took her cheering all the way to the 2025 Super Bowl, where the Chiefs, the reigning Super Bowl champion at the time, lost to the Philadelphia Eagles.
The โLoverโ singer missed only one home game last season, when the Chiefs beat the Chargers on Dec. 8, 2024, which marked the last time the two teams played each other until now.
Swift performed that night in Vancouver for the last date of her record-breaking โEras Tour.โ
Her busy “Eras Tour” schedule kept her from attending any of the Chiefsโ away games. Neither Swift nor Kelce has said whether she’ll go to the game in Brazil, but, of course, she’s not on tour at the moment.
Hereโs what to know about the Chiefsโ game against the Chargers.
