Allison Williams might be facing down plot twists in “M3GAN 2.0,” but in her own life, she’s delivering happy surprises, especially when it comes to her relationship status. This week, fans learned that the 37-year-old actor is married.
In a June 23 profile for The Guardian, the actor spoke about being a parent and mentioned briefly that her “husband” is filming his current project in London, a tidbit that has come as quite a revelation.
“I would be in a puddle on the ground if we didn’t have the nanny that we have, who is the reason my husband is shooting in London right now and I’m here,” Williams explained. “None of this is possible without her, and we’re so grateful.”
TODAY.com confirmed the actor tied the knot with her partner, German actor Alexander Dreymon. The two starred in the 2020 film “Horizon Line.” They now share a 3-year-old son, Arlo.
While Allison Williams’ wedding to Dreymon might have flown under the public radar, the actor has given a glimpse into her life as a mother. During a recent appearance on TODAY this week, she reflected on life as mom to Arlo, saying that when it comes to the support she receives from her own family, “I feel so lucky.”
“I live so close to (my parents),” she said of being in proximity to her parents, Jane Stoddard Williams and former NBC News anchor Brian Williams. “I get to have that actual, approximate sort of multigenerational childcare experience,” she added.
The actor also looked back on a moment of relatable parenting frustration she experienced in her early days as a mom.
“I just yesterday found a journal entry from when we were in that ‘dada’ pre-mom stage, and it was like, full of rage. I was like, ‘They got him out of my body and he hasn’t said my name yet. How dare they?’”
