Jack Black Can’t Find Mike Myers At End Of ‘SNL’ Episode

“Saturday Night Live” had another surprising goodnight moment onstage this weekend, following Morgan Wallen’s abrupt walk off.

This time, host Jack Black and musical guests Elton John and Brandi Carlile couldn’t find special guest Mike Myers … despite him standing right next to them.

The moment began when the host and musical guests stood centerstage, backed by the entire cast, as is the show’s tradition.

“Thank you to Elton John, Brandi Carlile, Mike Myers,” Black began, pointing to each individual as he mentioned them.

When he got to Myers’ name, Black went to place his arm around the man on his left — who turned out to be music producer Andrew Watt.

“Where’s Mike Myers?” Black asked loudly, realizing his mistake and looking around.

“Where’d he go?” Carlile echoed.

Well, Carlile need only look to her right as Myers was standing next to her the whole time. When Black and Carlile asked where he was, Myers even pulled his shirt and pointed to himself.

Carlile soon found him, putting her arm around him and pulling him in for a kiss on the cheek as Black continued to close out the show.

“Anyway, you guys, this has been a life highlight. This is the best crew, best writers, best cast, love you,” Black said, blowing a kiss to the audience.

As the credits began to roll, Black hugged Watt and then turned around to find Myers, making a big deal out of the moment he finally “found” him.

Perhaps it was so hard to find Myers (who was on “SNL” to reprise his role of Elon Musk) as he looks different than fans of his may remember. While he now touts silver hair, many may picture him with dark brunette hair, which he sported for roles like Austin Powers and during his time as an “SNL” cast member.

This was not the first time an “SNL” goodnight speech went awry this season. Last week, musical guest Morgan Wallen left the stage early, posting an image on his Instagram story early Sunday morning on a plane with the words, “Get me to God’s country.”

This week, “SNL” poked fun at the incident during two sketches. The first instance came in the cold open, where Myers played Elon Musk in a sketch about the recent tariffs, including one’s imposed on islands mainly inhabited by penguins.

“I want to go to there,” cast member James Austin Johnson as President Donald Trump said. “Get me to God’s country, right?”

The second reference came in the “Weekend Update” bit when co-anchor Colin Jost discussed recent stock market dips.

“Just in the past two days, investors have lost over $6 trillion,” Jost said. “Money is leaving the stock market faster than Morgan Wallen at goodnights.”
