Reese Witherspoon’s daughter, Ava Phillippe, is channeling one of her mom’s iconic characters in an upcoming episode of “Doctor Odyssey.”
In a video shared on the “Doctor Odyssey” Instagram account, Ava Phillippe, who is also the daughter of actor Ryan Phillippe, revealed that she’ll be making her acting debut in the “spring break” episode of “Doctor Odyssey” that’s premiering tonight at 9 p.m. ET.
In the clip, she dressed as her character, Veronica, and wore a pink bikini that’s similar to the one her mom wore in “Legally Blonde” when Elle Woods did her Harvard video application essay.
Disney released episodic images of Phillippe that shows her wearing the pink bikini and sitting poolside by Michael Jackson’s daughter Paris Jackson, and Charlotte Lawrence, whose father is TV producer Bill Lawrence.
Out of the trio, Phillippe was the only one was wearing pink.
According to IMDb, this episode will feature “three college ‘vixens,'” who set their sights on Dr. Max Bankman (Joshua Jackson).
“Meanwhile, Tristan (Sean Teale) faces his drinking problem while other passengers’ struggles keep the medical team on their toes,” it adds.
In a 2021 interview with E!’s Daily Pop, Phillippe talked about her relationship with her parents, saying they have always given her great advice when it comes to her career.
“My parents have always encouraged me to choose the path that’s right for me and, you know, guide me along the way to make better choices than I might make,” she said. “I’m so grateful for that. That is such a privilege to have parents that support you in that way and to want you to be who you truly are meant to be. So I think I’m trying to do that.”
When asked what she wants to do with her life, Ava, who attended college at UC Berkeley, said she’s “not so sure on where I’m going yet.”
“That’s kind of what I’m trying to figure out in this stage of my life, what’s the right fit for me and what’s going to do the best for others within that context, and what can I be most impactful with,” she said.
