Last year, the star-studded “Traitors” cast descended upon a Scottish castle to โmurderโ and banish each other for money as they filmed Season 3. Now, the season fans have been waiting for is here.
The hitย Peacockย reality competition series returned Jan. 9 for its newest season, with 21 famous faces, and possibly a few more, battling to be the last โFaithfulโ or โTraitorโ standing.ย
On June 5, 2024, hostย Alan Cummingย revealed exclusively on TODAY the names of the Season 3 contestants while he sat next to a blazing fire presumably in the Scottish castle where the show is filmed.ย
โThe new season of โThe Traitorsโ cast is unlocked at last,โ he said mischievously before unfolding a parchment similar to the ones the contestants receive. After reading the list, he labeled Season 3, โthe most treacherous season yet.โย
So which celebrities were tapped for Season 3? Well, a few โSurvivorโ legends, some fan-favorite โReal Housewivesโ stars, a British royal and one of Britney Spearsโ exes made the cut.ย

Who are the โTraitorsโ Season 3 contestants?
Rob Mariano
Where you know him from:ย โSurvivor,โ โThe Amazing Raceโ and โDeal or No Deal Islandโ
Rob โBoston Robโ Mariano, also known as the โGodfatherโ of โSurvivor,โ is known equally for his love of the Boston Red Sox and his aggressive style of gameplay. He debuted on โSurvivorโ in 2002 and went on to compete four more times, including on โSurvivor: All-Stars,โ where he placed in second behind his wife, Amber Brkich, and โSurvivor: Redemption Island,โ which he won. He also competed on โThe Amazing Raceโ with Brkich and theย inaugural season of โDeal or No Deal Islandโย in 2024.
Dorinda Medley
Where you know her from:ย โThe Real Housewives of New York Cityโ
Dorinda Medley just wants to make it nice. Medley joined the cast of โThe Real Housewives of New York Cityโ in 2015 for Season 7. She stayed on the show through Season 12, where she made an impression for her one-liners and breakdowns. The Blue Stone Manor owner also appeared on โThe Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip,โ notably alongside โTraitorsโ alum Phaedra Parks.
Chrishell Stause
Where you know her from:ย โSelling Sunsetโ
Chrishell Stause rose to fame with the cast of โSelling Sunset,โ which follows the lives of a luxury real estate firm in L.A. Sheโs continued to appear on the show through Season 8. The show has followed Stauseโs personal life, including her relationships with โThis Is Usโ actor Justin Hartley, co-star Jason Oppenheim andย her marriage to Australian musician G Flip.
Britney Haynes

Britney Haynes has played โBig Brotherโ twice and is often remembered for her wit and snarky commentary in Seasons 12 and 14. While sheโs never won, she helped evict major social threat โ and now โTraitorsโ co-star โย Danielle Reyes in 2023โs spinoff โBig Brother Reindeer Games,โ meaning she entered the castle at risk of a lingering feud.
Danielle Reyes

Danielle Reyes is known as one of the best โBig Brotherโ players to never win. Reyes appeared on the showโs third season in 2002, where she finished in second. She returned for the showโs โAll-Starsโ Season 7, finishing in sixth, before taking a 17-year hiatus from the reality competition show. Reyes came out of retirement last year to compete on the holiday spinoff โBig Brother Reindeer Gamesโ and was taken out in seventh place after Britney Haynes betrayed her.
Bob the Drag Queen
Where you know him from:ย โRuPaulโs Drag Raceโ
Bob the Drag Queen memorably won Season 8 of โRuPaulโs Drag Raceโ and is known for comedy. He went on to release music, co-host HBOโs โWeโre Here,โ act in a play and write a book, โHarriet Tubman: Live in Concert,โ set to publish in March 2025.
Wells Adams
Where you know him from:ย โThe Bacheloretteโ and โBachelor in Paradiseโ
Wells Adams first rose to prominence for appearing on Season 12 of โThe Bachelorette.โ He went on to star on โBachelor in Paradiseโ Season 3. Although he didnโt find love, he became the showโs new bartender the following season, a role he holds today. As for his love life, Adams caught the eye of โModern Familyโ star Sarah Hyland, and the pair tied the knot in 2022.
Chanel Ayan

Gabby Windey

Dylan Efron

Dylan Efron is the younger brother of actor Zac Efron. They also shareย two much younger half-siblings, Olivia and Henry,ย who often make an appearance on the Efron brothersโ Instagrams.
Tony Vlachos

Tony Vlachos is a โSurvivorโ alum known for dominant social strategy and a cutthroat approach. He is the first man to win the game twice (second ever behind Sandra Diaz-Twine). Vlachos notably won the showโs first all-winners season, Season 40, โSurvivor: Winners at War.โ Just donโt try and speak llama to him.
Jeremy Collins
Where you know him from:ย โSurvivorโ
Jeremy Collins rounds out the third โSurvivorโ alum to have competed on Season 40, โWinners at War,โ in 2020. Collins first competed on Season 29 alongside his wife, Val, and won when he returned for Season 31. Itโs important to note that Collins and Vlachos were both in the final 10 of โWinners at War,โ before Collins was blindsided. While Vlachos won the season, Collins did not vote for him at the final tribal.
Dolores Catania
Where you know her from:ย โThe Real Housewives of New Jerseyโ
Dolores Catania, a โReal Housewives of New Jerseyโ veteran, stands on business. Catania has been on the show since Season 7,ย weathering the storm that was Season 13ย amid a brutal feud among the cast, including Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga. Carolyn Wiger

Carolyn Wiger is part of the โnew eraโ of โSurvivorโ players, having competed on the show after the landmark Season 40. Wiger was cast on Season 44 and is remembered for her big personality, at-times chaotic energy and savvy social game. Who are the Faithfuls, and who are the Traitors?
In the first episode of Season 3, Cumming picked three traitors to betray the rest of the group and try to survive until the final Round Table. Cumming picked Carolyn, Danielle and Bob the Drag Queen. The rest of the group became Faithfuls.
But threeย moreย people entered the game at the end of Episode 1: Rob Mariano and two previously unannounced contestants, Wes Bergmann of โThe Challengeโ and โBig Brotherโsโ Derrick Levasseur. Wes and Derrick were dubbed Faithfuls, while Rob was given the special job of joining the Traitors.
Wes Bergmann

Wes Bergmann is a โChallengeโ staple, having appeared in 14 seasons. His reality TV debut came in 2005 on โThe Real World: Austinโ and he went on to thrive in the competitive game environment of MTVโs โThe Challenge.โ Heโs won three times and was a finalist in several more.
Derrick Levasseur

What is โThe Traitorsโ?
On the reality game show โ which has versions in the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and more countries around the world โ the Faithfuls and the Traitors compete together in missions to earn money for the group prize fund. In between missions, the Faithfuls try to determine the identity of the Traitors and vote to banish them at the Round Table. Meanwhile, the Traitors meet in secret at a turret every night to discuss which Faithful to โmurderโ and eliminate from the game. Every player is hoping to make it to the end and collect the cash prize.ย
Since launching in the U.S., โThe Traitorsโ has become aย phenomenonย and constantly trended on social media platforms during its second season.ย
In Season 1, โSurvivorโ alum Cirie Fields successfully deceived the other contestants while playing alongside fellow celebrities and a group of reality television fans. She left the show as the sole winner of $250,000.
Last season, fans watched Traitors Dan Gheesling (โBig Brotherโ), Parvati Shallow (โSurvivorโ) and Phaedra Parks (โThe Real Housewives of Atlantaโ) fail to outlast the Faithfuls. โThe Challengeโ stars Chris โCTโ Tamburello and Trishelle Cannatella were crowned the winners and split $208,100.ย
