The season finale of โSurvivor,โ scheduled to air Dec. 17, will feature a bit of a hitch when President Trump will interrupt the broadcast to deliver a primetime address to the nation.
The final episode of the 49th season of the long-running reality TV staple is scheduled to run for three hours, but the presidentโs speech will bump the timeline for viewers.
There are five castaways remaining in the quest to outwit, outplay and outlast each other for the $1 million grand prize:

The โSurvivorโ finale will air Dec. 17 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.
When will the ‘Survivor’ finale be interrupted?
โCBS News will air a Special Report for President Donald J. Trumpโs live primetime address to the nation from the White House, Wednesday, Dec. 17 at 9:00 p.m. ET,โ Paramount, which owns CBS, said in a statement.
The schedule on the CBS website lists the โSurvivorโ finale starting at 8 p.m. ET, with the presidentโs speech beginning at 9 p.m. ET and a resumption of the finale at 9:22 p.m. ET, at which point it will run for two more hours, concluding at 11 p.m. ET.
When will the ‘Survivor’ finale return?
The episode will continue after the president finishes his speech.
