Machine Gun Kelly gave a hilarious response when he was asked about the Sydney Sweeney dating rumors on “Watch What Happens Live.”
In the middle of the program Aug. 10, MGK, whose real name is Colson Baker, was asked a fan question about the rumored romance.
“MGK, Kyle P. wants to know if there’s any truth to the rumor you and Sydney Sweeney were more than just friends?โ host Andy Cohen asked the rock star.
After taking a brief pause, Kelly looked into the camera and said, “Kyle P. Shut up, dude,” which made Cohen burst out laughing.
The “Bloody Valentine” singer has known Sweeney for quite some time now. The two starred in the 2019 movie “Big Time Adolescence,” and Sweeney also appeared in MGK’s 2021 musical, “Downfalls High.”
In May, Sweeney and MGK were seen talking at the grand opening of the Palm Tree Beach Club in Las Vegas. Sweeney shared a photo to her Instagram story of herself with the singer and actor Patrick Schwarzenegger, according to People.
As for their love lives, Sweeney used to be engaged to businessman Jonathan Davino, but People reported in March the wedding was called off.
Kelly has been in an on-again, off-again romance with Megan Fox.
In March, the “Transformers” star and MGK welcomed their baby girl, Saga Blade, into the world. During a June appearance on TODAY, MGK explained the meaning behind his daughter’s name.
โThe five years of her culmination of coming, disappearing, coming back again, disappearing, coming back again โ she is an epic story, and thatโs what Saga means,โ he said.
MGK added that Saga is an ode to his Nordic heritage, as the name โSรกgaโ in Norse mythology refers to the goddess of storytelling.
โI think she has a storytelling future ahead of her,โ he added.
MGK is also dad to his 16-year-old daughter, Casie, whom he shares with his ex Emma Cannon, and Fox also has three sons with her ex-husband, Brian Austin Green.
