Beyoncรฉ pulled out all the stops for the final night of her โCowboy Carter Tour.โ
The tour kicked off in Los Angeles back in April and came to a close on July 26 in Las Vegas. The โTexas Holdโ Emโ singer had plenty of surprises up her sleeve for fans as she concluded her tour, including a Destinyโs Child reunion at the end of the final show.
Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams joined Beyoncรฉ on stage for a medley of their hits, including โLose My Breath,โ โEnergyโ and โBootylicious,โ as captured by a fan on TikTok.
Beyoncรฉ shared a glimpse of their reunion on Instagram in a July 27 post. In the snap, the trio donned coordinating head-to-toe gold ensembles, including chaps to fit the occasion.
A recap posted on Beyoncรฉโs website highlighted several more photos from the performance, including a shot of the group mid-strut down the stage.
Fans shared videos of the reunion across social media, including a TikTok video of the trioโs synchronized strut to kickoff โLose My Breath.โ One user on X captured Rowlandโs cheeky response to a fan during the mute challenge, while another posted a video of the end of the performance, which showed the group hugging and then holding hands as they exited the stage.
Even Oprah shared the epic moment on Instagram with fans, capturing snippets of the medley, including the mute challenge during Beyoncรฉโs track โEnergy.โ
โBest surprise ever!โ Oprah wrote in the caption. โDestinyโs Child reunion at @beyonceโs final show for the Cowboy Carter Tour. We yelled like fifth graders when they came out. Take your bow Bey, what an incredible run!โ
A Destinyโs Child reunion wasn’t the only surprise for fans during the final show, either.
Shaboozey joined Beyoncรฉ on stage to perform their song โSweet Honey Buckinโ from โCowboy Carter,โ as captured by Tina Knowles on Instagram.
After Jay-Z previously joined his wife on stage in Paris in June, just days after Miley Cyrus performed โII Most Wantedโ with Beyoncรฉ, he made his return to bid the tour farewell. He performed several songs, including โCrazy In Loveโ and โDrunk In Loveโ with Beyoncรฉ, according to fan videos shared online.
Since Destinyโs Child officially disbanded in 2006, the group have reunited on stage a few times over the decades.
In 2013, Rowland and Williams joined Beyoncรฉ during her 2013 Super Bowl halftime performance. They played two of their hits as a group, โBootyliciousโ and โIndependent Women,โ and joined the singer for her solo hit โSingle Ladies.โ
Years later, the trio reunited again during Beyoncรฉโs historic 2018 Coachella set to perform โLose My Breath,โ โSay My Nameโ and โSoldier.โ
Offstage, the group โ including former members LeToya Luckett and LaTavia Roberson โ have made appearances together, including at the premiere of Beyoncรฉโs โRenaissanceโ concert film in November 2023.
The following year in November 2024, Beyoncรฉ and Rowland showed up for Williams on the opening night of โDeath Becomes Her,โ with the trio meeting up backstage.
Tina Knowles has also continued to support the members of Destiny’s Child after the group disbanded.
On July 24, she expressed her excitement for Brandy and Monica’s upcoming co-headlining tour, which will feature Rowland as a special guest. On Instagram, she wrote, โCannot wait to see this tour.โ
The same day, she posted a belated birthday message to Williams on Instagram, calling the singer her a โbeautiful Belle.โ
โSince I met this beautiful human inside and out every time, Iโm in her presence itโs been nothing but joy,โ Tina Knowles wrote in the caption. โShe is the epitomel (sic) of Grace class, beauty and talent.โ
