Carly Pearce is going public with the new man in her life.
The country music star, 35, shared a selfie on Instagram that showed her smiling as she cozied up to her boyfriend, whom People identified as entrepreneur Jordan Karcher.
“I guess this is what the kids call a ‘hard launch’ these days…,” Pearce joked in her caption, adding a smiling and heart emoji.
For his part, Karcher previously tagged Pearce in a post about how he’d “finally” become a fan of country music. He later changed his Instagram account settings to private.
Pearce’s confirmation of the couple’s romance comes a little more than five years after she and her ex-husband, fellow country music star Michael Ray, announced their split in June 2020 after eight months of marriage.
The former couple, who collaborated on the 2020 duet, “Finish Your Sentences,” went public with their relationship in late 2018.
Following her split with Ray, Pearce dated Nashville real estate agent Riley King for two years before entering into an unexpected romance with her drummer BC Taylor in the summer of 2023, People reported.
“I certainly never thought I would find myself in this situation,” Pearce told the publication, “but it just happened. I’m happy. It’s good.”
The “What He Didn’t Do” singer later followed up by telling People in June 2024 that she preferred to keep her relationship with Taylor private.
“Everything’s good,” she said. “But now that I’ve had a failed marriage and a failed relationship in the spotlight, I have learned we keep this one very quiet.”
Pearce added that she would be happy if “love and marriage and whatever ‘family’ looks like for me,” were in the cards for her future, but said she considered making music her top priority.
“I am really OK if children do not happen for me, meaning this is what I’ve wanted more,” she said. “My career is what I dreamt of.”
