Unlike his famous family, Rob Kardashian prefers a life outside of the spotlight.
While chatting with his sister Khloรฉ Kardashian on the July 16 episode of her โKhloe in Wonder Landโ podcast, he revealed why he took a step back from TV to live a private life.
“It just has everything to do with myself. I don’t want to be filming and putting myself in a position where I’m not comfortable,” he said. “I’m not comfortable in my skin so why would I want to go and be on camera and just be vulnerable and let people in when thatโs not what I want to do?โ
“I haven’t been comfortable with myself in years and also filming and just doing all that, it’s not for everybody. And I choose my own happiness and peace rather than filming for somebody who doesn’t do anything for me and my personal life. That’s the truth,” he added.
While the two chatted on the phone, Khloรฉ Kardashian then asked her brother if he would ever consider returning to reality TV.
The sole Kardashian brother hasnโt made many appearances on his familyโs Hulu show, โThe Kardashians.โ However, he did put his life on display in 2016 when he filmed โRob & Chynaโ with his ex-fiancรฉe, Blac Chyna.
The two showed the ups and downs in their relationship and their life with their daughter, Dream, who is now 8 years old.
โI love filming if itโs positive and natural and Iโm feeling good about myself, then of course if Iโm comfortable,โ he explained about returning to TV. โI like being around my family so that stuff is good to me.โ
During their chat, Rob Kardashian also opened up about his dating life.
โIโm good at talking to people. But also there (are) moments where Iโm like, OK, I canโt talk to anybody, itโs too much energy. Itโs just too much. Iโm talking to too many people. I donโt want to be like that,โ he said.
