It’s been a summer filled with romance, steamy challenges, and yes, undercooked pancakes in the “Love Island USA” villa. Over the past six weeks, young singles have left their everyday lives behind in pursuit of love in the most modern way possible — by competing on a reality show.
As another hot summer in Fiji draws to a close, here’s everything you need to know about the season finale.
A Season of Slow-Burn Romance
Season 7 of “Love Island USA” has sparked extensive online discussion about modern dating culture, with fans questioning throughout the season whether contestants were genuinely seeking love or pursuing fame.
Unlike previous seasons that produced lasting relationships — three top couples from Season 6 remain together today — Season 7 took a slower approach to romance.
The season began with Huda and Jeremiah appearing to commit to each other from Day 1, which other Islanders criticized. Throughout the season, there was frequent emphasis on “keeping options open” and “exploring” connections with every new bombshell.
As viewers watched week after week, without seeing serious couples emerge, many began wondering: Is there actually any love in the “Love Island” villa this season?
Fortunately, as the season neared its end, some couples began approaching their relationships more sincerely. Nic and Cierra became the first couple of the season to commit exclusively to each other during a one-on-one date outside the villa. However, their relationship was cut short when Cierra was unexpectedly removed from the villa in Episode 30.
In Episode 32, Taylor thoughtfully choreographed a cheer that all the boys participated in to ask Clarke to be exclusive with him. Unfortunately, the couple was eliminated later in the episode after receiving the fewest votes from America. And again on Episode 34, after closing things off, Ace and Chelley also were dumped from the villa.
Now, the finale will reveal which couples have found genuine connections worth fighting for.
What Time Is the ‘Love Island USA’ Season 7 Finale On?
The “Love Island USA” Season 7 finale will begin at 6 p.m. PT/9 p.m. ET on Sunday, July 13, with host Ariana Madix returning to the villa to guide viewers through the final moments.
Where to Watch the ‘Love Island Usa’ Season 7 Finale
The “Love Island USA” Season 7 finale will be available to stream on Peacock on Sunday, July 13.
Viewers had the chance to cast their votes on the “Love Island USA” app to help determine which couple will be crowned the winners.
America’s vote ultimately decides the fate of the final couples, so you can have the final say in which couple comes out on top. Voting typically closes shortly before the finale airs, so fans should cast their votes early.
Peacock is owned by NBCUniversal, TODAY’s parent company.
Which Couples Are in the Finale?
Four couples currently remain in the “Love Island USA” villa and have a shot at the $100,000 cash prize:
- Amaya and Bryan
- Olandria and Nic
- Iris and Pepe
- Huda and Chris
The finale follows the show’s traditional format, where America’s vote determines the winning couple. But the real drama comes after the results are announced. The victorious couple must then face the show’s ultimate test: they can either split the prize money equally between them, or one partner can choose to keep the entire $100,000 for themselves.
With the season’s romantic journey finally reaching its climax, viewers won’t want to miss the finale to see if love truly conquered all in the villa.
