When it comes to “Bachelor in Paradise,” some things never change. Yes, this season is set in Costa Rica, rather than Mexico, which means there are lizards instead of land crabs in the background — but nearly everything else is the same.
For the July 7 premiere, previous Bachelor Nation cast members gathered at a tropical location to find love, with more to join in future episodes.
Dale Moss had the most dramatic entrance, sailing in on a boat as the rest of the cast gathered on the beach. Clare Crawley, famously, ended her season of “The Bachelorette” early after meeting Dale. The two later broke up but he had a similar effect on the cast members, with Kat Izzo, Alexe-Anne “Alexe” Godin and Zoe McGrady all vying for time with him.
Sam McKinney, considered a villain from Jenn Tran’s “Bachelorette” season, also turned heads when he drove in late on a motorcycle.
Over the course of the three-hour premiere, couples began to form — as did love triangles. Here’s what to know about the couples in the making, plus who went home.
