For Andy Cohenโs 3-year-old daughter, Lucy, the highlight of day camp isnโt swimming, crafts or even the counselors.
When asked what she likes most, her answer is delightfully on brand for a toddler: โPooping in the potty.โ
โPooping in the potty,โ Cohen repeats with a smile, in an Instagram reel. โYouโre so good at that.โ
Next, the Bravo mogul wants to know if sheโs made any friends yet. Lucy pauses, then informs her dad that she has not.
โI donโt want to,โ she says matter-of-factly.
Pressed on why she doesnโt want to get to know the other children, Lucy offers a polite but pointed reminder that Cohen needs to begin the sentence with โplease.โ
He does, and she agrees that she will, in fact, make friends. Cohen beams, calling out, โFriends are one of the best parts about life.โ
To celebrate Lucyโs third birthday in May, Cohen leaned into her most specific request with a cake decorated with the words, โIn My Underwear Era.โ
Cohen, who is also the father of 6-year-old Ben, spoke about Lucyโs toilet training experience during a June appearance on Jenna & Friends.
While they had already celebrated what he called her โdiaper graduation,โ he acknowledged they werenโt quite out of the woods just yet.
โI was always told that girls were smarter and they picked things up quicker,โ Cohen said with a laugh. โSheโs at the same glacial pace that her brother was at.โ
Cohen, never one to hold back, steered the conversation to his own bodily quirks.
โListen, I have a small bladder, now that weโre oversharing,โ he continued. โI live in a doorman building. Thereโs a bathroom behind where the doormen work. Itโs my favorite spot in New York City. Itโs my safe zone when I canโt make it up in the elevator!โ
