John Stamos: actor. Musician. Life-changer.
During the May 28 episode of โJeopardy!,โ contestant Alice Welch, an epidemiologist from Queens, New York, said the โFull Houseโ star is responsible for her career journey, a fact that moved Stamos himself.
โThank you for sharing this story, Alice! Put a big smile on my face,โ he wrote while sharing the clip on his Instagram page on May 29. โAnd for the record โ I think you would found success no matter what choice you made that day. Hope we get to meet again in person!โ
In the clip from Welchโs interview on โJeopardy!โ Welch said she became a pharmacist because of Stamos.
โSo, it was my senior year of high school, and I was working at a local greeting card store, and hated it,โ she said.
โAnd John Stamos came to town to do photos and sign autographs. And they said I couldnโt go. They were like, โJohn Stamos or your job.โ And, obviously, John Stamos,โ she continued, as the audience and host Ken Jennings laughed.
Welch then said that ultimatum changed the trajectory of her life.
โThree days later, I got a job in the local pharmacy and then went to pharmacy school,โ she said.
โHe changed your life,โ Jennings said.
โChanged my life. Thanks, John,โ Welch said.
โI hope you get a chance to tell him in person someday,โ Jennings said.
