Kelley Wolf has returned to social media after being detained by law enforcement in Utah, an encounter she partially documented in a video posted online.
The incident occurred on June 13, three days after “The Real World: New Orleans” alum and her husband, the actor Scott Wolf, announced their separation after 21 years of marriage. Kelley Wolf was not arrested but transported to a local hospital for evaluation.
While there, she shared several updates on Instagram, including a reel in which she claimed she had been taken against her will and urged followers to check on her children: Jackson, 16; Miller, 12; and Lucy, 11.
On June 18, Kelley Wolf resurfaced on the platform with a photo of her arm stacked with gold bracelets, and what appeared to be a hospital bracelet, resting beside a drink. “Hi,” she wrote in text overlaid on the image.
In a separate Instagram Story, she added, “Be kind please. It’s ‘men’s’ mental health month… or wait… Juneteenth? Soon? Hmmmm…”
The Utah County’s Sheriff’s Office issued a press release on June 14, stating that deputies had responded to Sundance Resort “for a report that a female needed some help.”
“Upon speaking with the female, our deputies learned that she had made concerning comments to a family member, and she also made similar comments to our deputies,” the statement read. It noted that as a result, she was taken to a medical facility for evaluation.
Scott Wolf has not directly addressed Kelley Wolf’s detainment or hospitalization. In his divorce filing statement, which preceded the incident, he focused solely on their children’s well-being and requested privacy.
Kelley Wolf addressed their decision to part ways in a detailed Instagram post on June 10, describing the actor as “one of the best fathers I’ve ever known and one of the best partners a woman could have the privilege of sharing life with. He is kind, thoughtful, funny, and beautiful in spirit.”
In a statement to TODAY.com later that day, Scott Wolf confirmed that he had filed for divorce, calling it “the most difficult decision” of his life.
“Our children have always been, and continue to be, the loves of our lives and our every priority,” wrote the actor, “so I kindly ask for privacy at this time as we help guide them through this new chapter.”
