Alec and Hilaria Baldwin are bringing theirย big familyย to TLC.
The couple first announced their upcoming reality series, tentatively titled โThe Baldwins,โ in a kid-filled video they jointly sharedย on Instagram in June 2024.
โWeโre inviting you into our home to experience the ups and downs, the good, the bad, the wild and the crazy,โ Alec Baldwin says as footage shows the coupleโs seven children running amok.
The video, which includes a joke about the coupleโs โannouncementโย notย being aboutย another baby on the way, ends by showing the pair and their brood โ Carmen, Rafael, Leonardo, Romeo, Eduardo, Marรญa Lucรญa and Ilaria โ piled together on a sofa.
โWe are the Baldwins,โ the group shouts in unison.
โAnd weโre coming to TLC! God help you all,โย jokes Alec Baldwin, who isย also dad to an older daughter, Ireland Baldwin, 29, with ex-wife Kim Basinger.
The first official trailer for the series dropped on Jan. 27, 2025. In it, Hilaria Baldwin introduces their home life. “Seven children, six animals, two parents. Wild family.”

When does ‘The Baldwins’ come out?
“The Baldwins” will premiere Sunday, Feb. 23 at 10 p.m. ET on TLC.
What will โThe Baldwinsโ be about?
The actor and his author and entrepreneur wife, 41, who tied theย knot in 2012,ย wanted to โinvite viewers into the home they share with their seven growing kids,โ TLC said in a June 2024 press release.
โFor the first time, theyโre opening up their family lives and bringing everyone in to join in the non-stop love, laughter and drama,โ the network added of the series.
According to a January 2025 press release from TLC, โThe Baldwinsโ is about the โchallenges and humor that come while raising a large family in the public eye.โ
How ‘The Baldwins’ addresses Alec Baldwin’s trial
The Baldwin’s reality series was announced five months a New Mexico grand juryย indicted Alec Baldwin on a single involuntary manslaughter chargeย in January 2024 over the death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins, who was killed in 2021 after the actorโs prop gun fired a live round of ammunition on the โRustโ film set.
The actor, who faced up to 18 months in prison if convicted,ย pleaded not guilty to the charge shortly after he was indicted. Baldwin maintained that he did not pull the trigger on the gun before it fired.
Charges were dismissed in July 2024 after a judge said prosecution had failed to turn over key evidence. Baldwin then filed a civil lawsuit for malicious prosecution and civil rights violations against special prosecutor Kari Morrissey, District Attorney Mary Carmack-Altwies and other Santa Fe officials in January 2025.
Santa Fe District Attorney Mary Carmack-Altwies and the sheriff’s office did not respond to TODAY.com’s request for comment.
In March 2024, the movieโs armorer, Hannah Gutierrez-Reed,ย was foundย guilty of involuntary manslaughter and not guilty of tampering with evidence. She wasย sentenced to 18 monthsย in prison in April. She has filed an appeal.
In the first trailer for “The Baldwins” that came out in January 2025, Hilaria Baldwin addresses the fatal shooting nearly immediately.
โA son lost his mom in the most unthinkable tragedy. This is never something to forget and weโre trying to parent through it,โ Hilaria Baldwin says.
Without specifically mentioning the incident on the โRustโ set, Alec Baldwin says, โHonestly, from the bottom of my soul, I donโt know where Iโd be if I didnโt have you and these kids.โ
The cameras were rolling during the proceedings. The season premiere opens with Alec and Hilaria Baldwin celebrating their oldest son Rafaelโs ninth birthday in June amid the unfolding โRustโ trial, per TLC’s January press release.
